L1A Visa amendment in progress, can L2 dependent continue to work

Hi Team,

I am in the US on L1A visa and have been laid off by my company. However I am able to find another job within same parent company but with other legal entity within same company. Now they want to file L1A amendment for me. Can my wife (who is on L2 visa) continue to work in the US while the amendment has been filed and its result awaited?
