neeu
Hi, I have an approved H1B with stamping done in last October and I haven't entered the US with my new H1 yet. My current employer is delaying my move to the US. So I wanted to find out if I could enter the US with another company? Such as transfer the H1 to another company enter with the new I-797. I had previously studied in the US on F1 and moved to another country when I finally got the H1 last year. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
JoeF
If you have the visa stamp the H1 can be transferred. Quote Link to comment
pontevecchio
It would seem the act of stamping the H1 visa means you have been cp subject and you can find another employer. By all means discuss the specifics with a Lawyer. Quote Link to comment

member24
Hello, a similar question, I came to usa using my H4 stamping. Then got H1B selected lottery two years backand did a COS from h4 to h1b, and have the approved i797A, and working with that employer till now. The question is can I transfer my H1b to a new employer within usa using my i797A, even though I dont have a h1b stamp in my passport? Quote Link to comment
