ca009009
I hold full-time H1B with ABC company and part-time(Concurrent) H1B with XYZ company. I got laid off from my full-time H1B from ABC company a week ago and gave me a 30-day notice. My question is, can I work and stay on part-time H1B with XYZ company for about 1 year without changing part-time to full time? Or do I need a full-time H1B to legally stay in the US? rajib01
Part time or full time, your wage that is set in the LCA must be paid by the employer. Quote Link to comment
Zodiac System
To the best of my knowledge, you need a full time position to stay on H1b. Need to find another full time employer within 60 days of being laid off. Let us see what other experts say. Quote Link to comment

gopalakrishnach
I am not sure but I feel H1B means you need to have petition(s) that makes up total 40 hours per week. I feel you cannot have H1B less than 40 hours. I maybe wrong. Talk with attorney. Quote Link to comment
