Viju Girish Posted July 28, 2020 Report Share Posted July 28, 2020 Hello, My parents recently got their GC petitions approved and they even got interview dates with immigrant visa's stamped on their passports. Unfortunately, with the COVID they were unable to travel and the entry visa expired. The stamping was done in Mumbai consulate. Unfortunately, the consulate has still not opened, nor are they responding to queries. Question to the group a) Can we reopen the case locally and can we get a new entry permit to ensure that they are able to travel or do we have to wait for the consulate to open? Their 10-year multiple entry visa was revoked when the immigrant visa was granted. Quote Link to comment
