123vish
Hi All, I have missed the deadline to file an h1b petition because I didn't have a client to file with. But I got a client project now, can I still submit my H1B petition? What are the possible ways if I can? Thank you, Vish Quote Link to comment
JoeF
You can not. Deadline means deadline. No filing past the deadline. Next year find a better employer, best is direct employer, not some shady consulting company. Quote Link to comment
User099
I don't think you can file after the deadline. Quote Link to comment

I lost my project due to COVID-19 and can get a letter from the client. I thought since this is a special circumstance as I lost my project due to COVID-19, USCIS might have extended the filing date or just considering the late petitions. They are considering the late petition for someone whose authorized admission has expired. You can read here https://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/covid-19-delays-in-extensionchange-of-status-filings But I'm still looking for any news where they're accepting if my admission is still valid. JoeF
If the project is gone the H1 is gone, COVID or not. Quote Link to comment
