Jacksan
I am on same path and my I-94 expires on July 24, but no receipt number yet from USCIS. Is it legal for me to stay and work without receipt number on my extension after my I-94? Quote Link to comment
User099
If you don't receive the receipt notice even after 30 days of sending the package, its better to contact uscis. Quote Link to comment
vinil rao
Today, I received a receipt from USCIS. It took close to 30 days to generate the receipt and share it with us. I am planning to upgrade my application to Premium processing. What do you suggest? Thanks, Vinil Quote Link to comment
User099
Its up to you. If it was me I would do premium processing and get done with it asap rather than waiting for 6 months. Quote Link to comment

Can I still work ? Thanks I believe the check sent by your employer/attorney is cashed. It should have the receipt number mentioned on it. Yes, you will be able to work while you are waiting for your receipt number. Quote Link to comment
