reddyvs1
Hi I have valid H1B transfer and extension approved(i797A). Currently in USA, but my wife is in India ( recently married ) with no visa stamping. 1) Once consulates open in India can she still go for stamping or has to wait till Dec 20 until president proclamation ends? 2) She has booked counselor appointment OCT 2020. Also i don't have i-140 approved or green card processing, does she still has to wait to be allowed to travel to USA till 12-20-20? Quote Link to comment

reddyvs1
My question is if it opens by Oct 2020. Can she go for stamping or she has to wait till proclamation ends in December. Quote Link to comment
User099
There are some new exceptions for the EO today and she should be able to travel now. If the consulates are open and issuing visa then she can apply for one. Quote Link to comment
seattleH1b
Hello Reddyvs, can you share any updated information that you may have on your current situation? I am in a similar boat and i am told that with an update to the presidential proclamation my spouse is eligible to request an expedite information. Quote Link to comment
