Does anyone has information about the second-round lottery for H1B 2021 this year considering the 3 month period to submit a petition is over on June 30th?

I don't think there will be a 2nd round. USCIS never indicated there will be a 2nd round.

No second round lottery for this year. USCIS never said that and I do not know where this rumour coming from. I saw few posts regarding 2nd round lottery.

It is not a rumour but there is high probability as many employers are unable to file H1B petitions picked up in lottery. Hence the quota may not be full as expected in the past. USCIS has not listed the numbers on their website yet and it is mulling over the possibility of second lottery. You could contact any immigration lawyer associated with AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association) on this probability.

Same Lawyers from ALIA will tell you that USCIS usually pick more petitions than the actual number for this exact purpose in the lottery.
