Heldeep
Hi, Can I write NCLEX in H4 with SSN but my husband don’t have approved I140. Can I still write with this status? Quote Link to comment
JoeF
Your SSN is not tied to any status. Quote Link to comment

Can I still write with this status? You should be able to take the exam unless they ask for a Work authorization as part of the exam requirements. I am guessing you don't have work authorization currently like a EAD. Edited July 6, 2020 by User099 Quote Link to comment
rijoshj
My wife wrote CGFNS to be eligible for appearing for NCLEX and then NCLEX. CGFNS credential evaluation is a must for all foreign graduate nurses. In some states, they also require you to appear for certification exam. She did not have SSN when she wrote either exams. She then got H4 EAD and along with it her SSN once I got my i140 approved. This is for Wisconsin and the rules may vary for other states. Quote Link to comment
