Nik007
Hello, I was laid off in April and my 60 days grace period expires early next month. The company might have revoked my H-1B visa after layoff since every company has to inform USCIS to update the status of the H-1B visa employee after layoff or job termination. I am currently in U.S. I have received a job offer from another company. Can I tell the new company to file for H-1B visa transfer under the new H-1B visa ban ? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
New employer can file H1B transfer ASAP with-in 60 days since you are already in USA. Quote Link to comment
User099
Yes, new company can file for a new H1 for you. The ban is only for those out side the country. Quote Link to comment
