Subb_an
Hi, I applied for H1B extension last Sep 13th 2019 and my H1 expired on Nov 2019. I have been waiting on the 240 days period. I got a RFE 2 months back and we responded. Yet to get any response. My 240 days gets over by this July 10th. I am FTE and my skills are product based and advanced analytics. I140 got approved in 2014. Pretty straight forward case. Not sure why such delay. Last Friday, we upgraded my petition to premium. No response yet. Thoughts on what I should expect? What are the odds for approval or rejection? Should I leave US by July 10th if I don't get a decision or approval as I would be out of status? Not sure what I should do to my apartment lease and every thing else. I have been here for 14 years now. Quote Link to comment

User099
You can stay beyond 240 days, you just can't work. Give it a week or 2 and there should be some progress. Quote Link to comment
