akkii Posted June 8, 2020 Report Share Posted June 8, 2020 Hi, I have an H1 stamped on my passport which was approved under consular notification. But I haven't entered the US on that yet and currently I am employed on F-1 STEM OPT. I have been impacted by layoffs while outside the US and my employment with the company ends soons. Due to scarcity of flights I am travelling back to US on the last of my employment. Now if I enter US on H1, it will be activated and will end on the same day. Is that correct ? Will I face any issues at port of entry due to this ? Also, will I face any issues with H1 transfer after this ? Quote Link to comment
