mohana80
Hi, I am on H1B visa. I worked for employer A until this year January. I signed non compete and non solicitation agreement with it . I joined employer B in January. Now employer B is laying off me. Another company C is offering me the job but this company C is the current customer of Company A. Am I still abide by the agreement with company A or is it safe to join company C? It will be six month since I left company A and the agreement was for one year after I left job. Please share your experiences and suggestions. Thank you! Quote Link to comment

If the employer lays you off the agreement should no longer be valid. Check with a labor lawyer. Quote Link to comment
User099
Check with Employer A and if they can give you a NOC you should be good. If the agreement is for 1 year then it can be enforced. Quote Link to comment
