Varun-Varun
My mother (an Indian citizen) was visiting the US on a B1 visitor visa and passed away in Ohio. We have cremated her in Ohio. Do you know if the USCIS or any other US government agency needs to be informed about this? Note that her B1 visa allowed here to stay in the US for up to 6 months, and she had exceeded her 6 month stay period. She had however filed for a B1 extension via form I-539 before the 6 month period was over. The extension wasn’t granted or denied yet, but she had received the USCIS receipt (I-797C) for the I-539 application. Thanks Quote Link to comment
