tmoneychicago Posted May 24, 2020 Report Share Posted May 24, 2020 I am current under H1B and filed for I-485 in Nov 2018 (interviewed in Nov 2019). My I-1485 (EB-3, i-140 approved and priority date is current)was denied on March 9th, 2020. I filed for MTR (I-290) on April 9th 2020 with strong evidence. On May 2020, my “Case was reopened”. My current employer is going to terminate my employment on June 30, 2020. My question is: if my case is not approved before my termination date, can I still keep this case live by transferring my H1B to a similar position with another employer? Quote Link to comment
