H1B transfer filed before i94 and joining new company in receipt

Hi 

I'm currently working in Indian service based company A and my H1B Visa/ i797 is expiring on June 11th, 2020 and i94 is expiring on June 21st, 2020. Company A filed extension already and it is in process

I received full time offer from company  B so I want to know

1) if company B should file H1B transfer + extension before i797 expiry date or before i94 expiry date?

2) if H1B transfer is filed before i94 (say  June19th) then can I join later when I after receipt? or should I start working with new company before i94 expiry date?

1. Just to be safe before I797 expiry date else before I94 expiry is better.

2. You can join new company on receipt. Best advice join after approval. I can understand why you want to join on receipt. It is your personal call.

1. Yes, that will be good if they can file it before I94 expiry.

2. You can work for them after you get the receipt, its not tied to you I94 expiry date.
