H1b visa and I-94 Expiry

Hello,

I am currently on H1b extension valid until May 31st and my spouse H4 valid until May 31st. Both of us I-94 expiry is on May 31st 2020.

Question:

1. We are stuck in India since March 22 Due to Covid-19, We have scheduled flight on May27th, Will there be any issues at port of entry, as my both of us I-94 and H1b are expiring in 4days.

2. My Attroney said he will file H1b through consulate processing on May 12th. So that i can enter USA and then he will send my new I-94 to USCIS on may 28th

3. My Attroney said he will file extension of stay overnight for I-94 once i am in USA (May 28th)

I am currently working from India. And having a valid client letter until Jan 2023

Let me know if i should travel on May27th to USA or attend consulate processing ?
