H4 EAD question

Hi

I filed my EAD extn but still in progress , I am working in a store and I am on furlough due to COVID19

I am not getting paid and i asked my employer to terminate me since my EAD expired but the process is taking long ( i sent emails, following up with HR)

my ID is emp active but not working and getting paid (will it cause any issues for having active emp ID?)

I am chasing them but it it taking so long

As long as you are not working and not getting paid you are ok. Just keep the proof that you informed them about you EAD end date.
