Cal_User Posted May 5, 2020 Report Share Posted May 5, 2020 I have filed for H1B extension with my employer in Sep 2019 and got an RFE in April 2020, which will be responded by mid May 2020. My I94 expired in Nov 2019 and I will be reaching 240 days by July 2020. If I do not hear back from USCIS by July, can I continue to stay in U.S after July 2020? what options do I have to continue to work? If I apply for a H4-EAD, what will happen to my pending H1B extension? Quote Link to comment
User099 Posted May 6, 2020 Report Share Posted May 6, 2020 You can stay after July 2020, but you can't work. You can't convert to H4 as you I94 is expired without traveling and getting a visa. Quote Link to comment
