Extension of stay - I539

hi - I want to file extension of stay for my parents. They are on B2 visa. I want to do online filing but seems like I have to do them separately? I'm worried that if I do that separately then one might get approved one might not? Has any done it online? Can some one please point me to tips and how to attach all evidence etc in online filing. Thanks much!

It has to be a separate petition for every person. For paper applications, they can be sent in one envelope. Online it is of course completely separate.

I am no expert on the matter however it seems like it may be safer to apply via mail to ensure one decision for the case as opposed to the possibility of two outcomes using the online tool.

Certainly applying through mail is the best option with respect to decision and money. I read some were in the forums that they didn't receive the receipt after applying through mail and then they had to re-apply through online.  Not sure which way to take.
