sforsantosh
I recently moved to a new IT Org and the petition which got approved had LCA with "wage rate paid to worked" 105K. The prevailing wage rate mentioned in LCA was 96500. Due to COVID-19 situation, there has been a salary cut across organization and now my salary is reduced to 97K Please help me understand if employer can reduce my salary or do they need to pay the salary mentioned in LCA Wage rate paid to worker section (105K) Edited April 22, 2020 by sforsantosh Text Updated Quote Link to comment
User099
They can reduce your pay, but it will need a new amendment to be filed for the new pay. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
I feel LCA is the minimum amount employer agrees to pay employee. I feel your case needs LCA adjustment and new H1B amendment. I maybe wrong. Quote Link to comment
