1099 from old employer H1B

Hi All,

I worked for company A and last year company B acquired company A and my H1B was filed from company B, so all good no issues.  But one thing is, as the part of the acquisition I receive quarterly bonus check from company A and the issue is at the end of the year I will receive 1099 from Company A.  Is this a problem ?? and will it effect my H1B status ? and how do I report tax?

I guess its not problem and will not effect H1B status since your attorney's will take care of it. You will report tax as per W2 you get.
