navish
Hello - My elederly parents ( one of them has medical conditions too) have valid i94 until 1-Jun-20. In 2018, they visited us and extended their stay until Mar’19 ( VISA Extension i539 was approved) And they travelled to US in Dec’19 again. But now during the pandemic, we want to extend their stay again due to their medical conditions and to avoid risk of infection and quarantine at airport. Please help me with below questions : 1. What are the chances of approval ? 2. Can 2nd time visa extension due to pandemic be an issue for their future travel ? 3. Any other alternative to handle this situation ? Thank you! pontevecchio
The question is not of approval. In order to avoid overstay, have them file an extension of stay giving appropriate reasons. Quote Link to comment
