H1B RFE - Client A .. to client B

I have applied H1B Extension RFE with Client A and Project closed due to COVID/ budget.
Got work on Client B can we proceed extension with client B?  
Client A and Client B location is beyond 50 miles. 
Current visa will expire in 10days. 

Could some one guide on this.  Only way to reply to RFE with Client A? or can we do something with Client B ?

You can file for a new H1 extension for Client B.

It’s not your visa but I94 that dictates your status..

by the time you apply for another H1B extension now, you may be relying upon the 240 day validity rule, based on pending extension..

For the 240 day rule to be effective and keep you in status, that underlying petition should be approvable..otherwise you would be deemed out of status retroactively..

Since current visa is valid I feel your I94 is also valid. You can apply for new H1B petition for B.
