stampwithgrace
Hi My company is filing my H1b Extension 6 months in advance of my old H1b - I797 expiring. My Old H1b - I 797 is expiring on Oct 1st 2020. My question is that what date will my new h1b - I 797 start? Will it from the date of filing i.e. April 15th, 2020 to April 14 - 2023? Will they will do Oct 1 2020 to Oct 1 2023? My LCA which I managed to see before the filing has a start date of April 15th 2020 to April 20 2023. Please advice. Quote Link to comment

Doesnt the H1b have to align with LCA dates? They look at your previous i797 expiry to issue a visa not the LCA.. Quote Link to comment
