I-140 Change of Employer from A to B. Prevailing Wage issues

Hello ,

Can some one please help me in understanding with the below query.

1. Company A prevailing wage was LEVEL 3 for NY as database administrator. My company B is offering less base salary which might come around LEVEL 2 . Will this sort of changes in the prevailing wage effect the H1b Transfer or I-140 portability. As i have already completed 180 days rule if this is considered.?

Please let me know on the same. I can provide some more information if it is not clear.

Different employers offer different jobs that can have different requirements that could be classified at different prevailing wage levels. As a result a person might hold H1B status with a job at prevailing wage Level 3 at one company and be hired by another company to work for them in a job that is classified at prevailing wage level 2.
