Srivallisneha
My parents are visiting us from India and are here since October. Their i-94 expired on 4/1/2020. We applied for their b2 visa extended stay form I539 on March 6th. Documents were received on March 10th and we received denial letter stating fee amount was in-correct on April 8th. We immediately filed for extension on April 8th through online application fixing the fee error. I understand in regular circumstances they would have to leave the country. But as there are no flight to our home country India would they consider our second application. Please provide your valuable advice. We would be indebted for your time and help. We are very worried as to how to deal with this situation. Regards Srivalli Quote Link to comment
aithalakadi
Hey! I am in the same situation. I used the USCIS fee calculator website and the fee came to $540. I sent out a check for the same and also attached the screenshot of the fee page. I contacted USCIS via chat and they said it is $540 but don't know why the application was rejected. Did you get an answer for your situation? Quote Link to comment
User099
You should check with an attorney on this. Quote Link to comment
