I am a greencard holder and out of country for 11 months
One year is going to completed by Apr, 28th
I am suppose to travel by end of this month but due to current situation I am not able to travel
What are the options to protect my greencard

I have a similar question, it's just that my mother went to visit India and got her ancle fracture and due to her knee replacement for both the knees and heavy weight she took more than expected recovery time in which 6 month return was surely impossible, but now due to covid she is not able to travel back and her 1 year time will be over by June end.

Not sure if this time limit is increased and she can return without any additional documents or what needs to be done?

If it is over one year she would have to file for an SB-1 Returning Resident visa, basically explaining that she couldn't travel due to circumstances beyond her control.

Even I have same problem

Departed in Aug2019 and couldn't come back in march due to Covid

Is there any guidance on extending the 1 year time

Thanks
