H1B Visa status

I am an H1B Worker and my Employer wants me to go back to India. 

1. What will happen to my H1B Visa status  If I return back to India?

2. Being in India Can we do the H1B Transfer to the new employer?

1. I feel since H1B is valid only if your in USA I feel your employer will revoke it.

2. Yes, you can transfer to any employer while being in India and come back on H1.

Hi!

If employer has terminated the employment and notified the USCIS, then though the H1B visa on one’s passport may be facially valid, s/he may not be able to travel back to the U.S. If the employer holds the postion and advises to commence employment in a few months, then it is important to carry documents to evidence availability of position in the U.S.

It is possible for a new employer to file another H1B while you are in India.
