Once they submitted petition After that i am suffering with Health issues also COVID-19 distress in the country i feel that this is not good time to move other place. Due to these two reasons i told to employer i am unable to join . Now that company asking to pay the H1B filled chargers .If i don't pay the amount(5k) they are telling will proceed on legally . Can you please advice that company will proceed legally or not on H1b filled chargers? or do i need to pay the charges ? Quote Link to comment

I don't think you will need to worry about anything. There are other ways they will spin this and ask the damages and not a direct H1 fees. Check with a Contracts Attorney on this if needed and you can use the email to file a complain to the DOL. Relax! Quote Link to comment
