H1B transfer got approved for 1 year

Recommended Posts

My current employer transferred my H1b since 11/29/2018. My case Got RFE in April. My employer submitted all the materials and USCIS confirmed they received on 5/29/2019. On 10/11/2019, my lawyer filled up case inquiry online, no response from USCIS. Then 1/26/2020, the lawyer submitted premium processing. On 2/28/2020, I got the I797 notice and knew my H1B approved from 11/29/2018 to 11/25/2019. It was already expired!

what should I do now? My I94 already expired for 1 year.

You can ask you attorney to see if they can file a nunc pro tunc case for you and file for an H1 extension. May be even request for an I94 extension due the current conditions.
