h1stamping_canada Posted February 28, 2020 Report Share Posted February 28, 2020 PD = Aug 2009 EB3 India I-485 filed = Sept 2019 EAD/AP received = Feb 2020 Is it advisable to change job using this new EAD even if its going to take another year to get I-485 approved (looking at the speed at which the dates are moving every month)? Has anyone changed jobs at this stage of green card? What was your experience? Are there any international travel restrictions once Travel Document is received? The advisability is only something you can decide and not anybody else. The answer is YES. In these times, get specific guidance from a lawyer. Quote Link to comment
sumitp Posted September 28, 2020 Report Share Posted September 28, 2020 I have changed job during EAD. I did file portability and it was approved. My job also required decent amount of travel, have done good amount (roughly 2-3 per year) of international travel on EAD+AP. Quote Link to comment
