abhiiiiiiiiiiii
Hi Everyone Recently my mother came to US in Dec 2018th and stayed until Nov 2nd 2019, we applied for extension and it was approved. Now she is again planning to come to US after 6 months in May 2nd week of 2020. Is it advisable to come with a gap of 6 months would it create any immigration issues Quote Link to comment
User099
Hopefully she has a good reason as to why she is coming back after 6 months after a recent long trip. If she is doing this on a regular basis, they will definitely scrutinize her travel. Quote Link to comment
JoeF
A visitor is never "returning" to the US. A visitor visits. If she is returning to the US she can't do that on a visitor visa, she would need a Greencard. Quote Link to comment

She already "saw" her grandson for 9 months and now she is again coming to "see" her grandson again. Will she again apply for an extension since she still wants to "see" her grandson more? I can understand what is going on here, all I can say is that she (i.e. you) is abusing her B visa. Quote Link to comment
pontevecchio
She will most likely get a month or two in her I94 as the duration of stay. On the other hand, she may get 6 months. Quote Link to comment
