Hi

 

Is it mandatory to start the process of GC of H1 holder to obtain EAD on H4 dependent?

Can a H4 dependent work for current employer (outside US) while in the US and get wages in foreign currency?

No, they need some kind of work authorization to work while in US.

2. The H4 dependent can work and earn outside of USA while being in USA (remote work).

You don't need work authorization in USA to work for being employed and paid in a foreign country, while being in USA.

One cannot work in the USA for any employer whether here or elsewhere without work Authorization. You are subject to US Law when you live here.

This is Wrong. If you are in US, then US Labor laws will apply.

Thanks for the information. I didn't know. I am aware of few people who work on H4 remotely(for companies outside the country). Maybe they don't reveal it as there is no obvious forum about which is asked.
