Adjustment of status while approved I-140 for H1B

hi,

I have a question, I am a Citizen and want to sponsor my sister who is in US. My sister is on H1B, and her I-140 is approved and her current date is May 2012. How long will it take to get her the GC and any suggestion on which is best way to get the GC, either wait on H1B approval and get the GC  or my sponsoring for GC to her.

Assuming your sister is Indian,

By employment route (I-140), her PD will take about 5-10 years to become current as she already has it in the system.

By family route (I-130), her PD will take about 15+ years to become current as you have not initiated application yet.
