When will my current employer knows about my H1B transfer?

I am planning to join another employer. When will my current employer will knows about my H1B transfer with the new employer? As soon as H1B transfer initiated or H1B transfer is completed? If I resign my current employer with H1B transfer receipt notice(Without approval), if they revoke / withdraw the H1B, will that be an issue?

Your current employer will not know of the transfer till you mention it to him. If you transfer on receipt notice and old H1 is withdrawn and new one gets denied due to some reason, you will have to leave the country ASAP.

Hi, what if the new transfer is denied, can one still work with same employer, if not left the job, and was only planning to join new employer after transfer approval?

If the transfer is denied and you already joined on the receipt notice, you will most likely have to file for a new petition with old employer to go back.
