Drop box or consulate interview for H4 with current H4 extension pending

Hello,

I recently switched to new employer and applied for H1b transfer in premium processing + h4 transfer for wife and kid.

H1b transfer got approved,  however my wife and kid had to travel to India before they can go for the biometric here in US since we did not receive the biometric notice on time. Their status is still pending.

Now I am also traveling to India for a vacation. And will be getting a new visa stamped through dropbox based of h1b approval notice for new employer.

Can I also get my wife's and Kid's visa stamped together with me through dropbox? Or do they have to get the visa stamped from consulate (biometric and Interview) process? Since they missed their biometric interview here in US. Our previous visa and I94 expires today.

Please advice.

I feel in-person interviews. Eventhough you are drop-box eligible there are good chances that they will all you interview since it is normal now a days...
