Crispydurian
Hi, I need help with my H1B and H4 transfer. I am currently employed by Company A under H1B and my spouse H4. Both of us are in the US. I got offers from Company B and Company C. I got H1B and H4 transfer approved through company B. However, I decided to join company C who is going to start the H4 and H1B transfer process. My spouse (H4) has a biometric appointment with USCIS for H4 transfer under company B. Should my spouse still attend the biometric appointment given we don't plan to use the new H4 from company B? Is there anything we need to do to "Not use" the new H1B and H4 from company B. Thanks! User099
She should attend the biometric appointment. There is nothing to transfer for h4. If her h4 is approved on the basis of you h1 petition from B, she doesnt even have to apply again if it won't add significant amount of time to h4 validity. Waste of filing fees. You can just attend and let it process. Not sure what happens if you don't attend. Quote Link to comment
