Adjustment of Status Interviews

This week, Murthy Law Firm attorneys will answer questions regarding interviews in the form I-485 adjustment of status process.

Is it correct that interview for some I-485 applicants are being waived at the moment by USCIS in light of COVID-19 (leading to direct approval of their GC).

Hello team, could you please help clarify the following?

My original birth certificate was in a bad shape and was laminated by my parents a long time back. Would that cause issues later on in the immigration process? I have an approved I-140 and I'm not sure if my birth certificate copy was used so far in the process.
