Ritesh Kesharwani
I am on H1 and have 2 more years on it. Recently my visa is approved on backdate (I receive the approval document on 23rd Jan which says Visa is valid until 31st December 2019). My Employer is not supporting and has asked me to resign as well as leave the country soon. I would like to know 1. What are my options or next steps? 2. How long I can stay as My I94 is also expired on 10th January 2020? 3. Will there be any problem if just in case I am re-entering? Please let me know ASAP. User099
If he is asking you to resign, you can't do much. See if you can find a new employer and file for a new case. You will have to leave ASAP and come back with new H1 visa. Why did you receive a backdated approval? On 1/28/2020 at 2:43 PM, Ritesh Kesharwani said: I am on H1 and have 2 more years on it.
