First H1 Extension for max out denied but second extension based on I-140 approved

My current H1 I-94 Expiry date was - >15th Sep 2019
First h1 extension was filed before I-94 expiry date -> 16th Jun 2019
Max Out - >03 Nov 2019
I-140 was approved -> Aug 30 2019
Second Extension was Filed after 15th Sep 2019 based on I-140 for 3 yrs -> 20-Sep-2019

Second Extension was approved on Dec 24 2019 - >From Sep 16 2019 to Jun 12 2022

But my first extension was denied -> Jan 23 2020.

Now my question is do I need to leave the country and come back after stamping or continue to stay in US legally?

Yes, it has with Valid 1-94 - Valid from 09/16/2019 to 06/12/2022.

I feel you are good. Your first h1 was valid till sep 15th 2019 and extension was approved from sep 16th 2019. No Gap.

But if you want to run this by an attorney will be a good idea.
