KjKumar
I have approved I-140. Received I797-A H-1B approval notice for three years while working in the US.The I-797A has valid I-94 for three years. Now I am traveling to India and am filing for H-1B stamping. However I noticed on my I-140 that it says "If the person for whom you are petitioning decides to apply for a visa outside the United States based upon this petition, the petitioner should file Form I-824. I dont remember filing I-824. 1. Could anyone help me understand the purpose of I-824? 2. Could this cause a problem with my H-1b stamping? Thanks for the help. Quote Link to comment
