swathih
Hello!I went for my biometrics on January 21st, 2020, and had my visa interview for H1B transfer + extension on January 22nd, 2020.The immigration officer asked me if my company had a website (which they don't) and for the address to our office. She took my paystubs and tax returns for reference, went away for a few minutes, came back and asked me if I had ever been out of status on my F visa (to which the answer was no).She gave me a blue slip and returned my passport, and told me they had to do some type of admin processing. She said it shouldn't take too long and that if all goes okay, I would just need to drop my passport off at a dropbox.I'm unable to track the case status (how do I do this?) and I'm worried that the process might take too long. This was at the Chennai center.Has anyone else experienced this off late?Any help/information would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment

gopalakrishnach
In below link select Non-Immigration Visa as Visa Type. Select location and give your DS160 number. https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx When they take decision and ready to issue visa you will get email with instructions. I feel having no website for your employer might be issue. They might want to check your employer. I hope your issue resolves soon. Quote Link to comment

gopalakrishnach
what is percent of denial? -- 221G is not by default denial. No timelines no formulas. If your profile is good surely you will get. Did they tell what the reason about and what they asked you to submit.. Edited January 27, 2020 by gopalakrishnach Quote Link to comment

I am in a similar situation than you. I went to Toronto Canada, my interview, they returned my passport and and several weeks has passed since there. I was wondering if I can travel to another country (not USA niether Canada, nor my home country) and wait there until I get any response. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
If you want to travel better is home country.... since you have passport. They will ask you submit documents via email. Once they make decision and ask you to submit passport you can travel to Toronto and submit passport... Quote Link to comment
