H1B Visa - Planning to File Extension

SCENARIO:

1. I came to USA in 2018 Sep for Location A and I have approved petition for Location A.
2. I have filed H1B amendment in 2018 Oct for Location B and this is still in Process from more than a year after responded the RFE also.
3. In Location B i have worked up to 2018 Dec and filed amendment for Location A again. I have worked in Location A again from Jan 2019 to Nov 2019 and the amendment for Location A is Denied.
4. So i back to the Location B again from Nov 2019 and working now. This amendment is still in process from more than a year.

 

Questions:

1. I can able to apply extension on Location B amendment which was in process. What is scenario if my amendment is Denied? Is there chances for approved Extension after denied the amendment?
2. If i apply another amendment with Role change +Extension, If the current amendment is denied will i am in safe position or not?

1 You can apply for extension while the the amendment is pending. We have seen cases where the amendment was denied but the new extension get approved. You might have to check with an attorney to see what will happen in such cases.
