H4 Approval Delays

Last week my H1 got approved in PP till 2022.
H4 and H4 EAD is still in ‘case was received’ status, my attorney in saying it will take 2-4 month to get approval for H4 and H4 EAD. current H4 and H4 EAD is exping soon (by this Jan 25 2020).
Questions:

1. is attorney overstating the approval timeframe for h4 and h4 ead?
2. California DMV need H4 approval for DL renewal, what is way around it?
3. can we travel on h4 pending?
4. can you guys share your timeline for h1, h4 and h4 ead approvals?

1. No, the time time they gave you is a best case scenario.

3. Yes, she can go for H4 stamping and come back.

4. If you check the case processing times on USCIS website, you will get a clear picture.

1. No definite timeline. Did you apply H1B, H4 and H4 EAD together or seperate?. Together would be best. I guess seperate

2. I am also in CA and I feel no way around. Contact them and see

3. Yes,  if visa expired she can attend H4 visa interview with approved H1B and come back

4. On Jan 12 2019 I applied all together and Feb 12 2019 I got all approved,. At that time they were no premium for H1B. I was lucky.
