Mike1221
I started working on H1B visa in Mar'14 which got renewed as needed. Then to file GC in EB1 category, my employer files L1 visa which was approved in Dec'18. The L1 visa is now valid till Mar'21. GC was filed in Jan'19 & I-140 is received. Question: Does max. stay period of 7 years on L1 starts in Dec'18 or will the entire term be counted? If entire term, then how should I continue to stay in US given that I don't foresee getting GC by Mar'21 (visa expiry date) Quote Link to comment
pontevecchio
You will be able to get H1 extensions based on the approved I-140. What does the Immigration team say? Quote Link to comment
