I will gratefully acknowledge you in my book. The premise is that a US citizen of Indian origin (but born in the US) travels to India with a PIO card, with the intention of staying in India for a year. While there, he marries an Indian woman. My questions: * Can they travel back together to the US while the Green Card is being processed? If not, how long (on average) till the processing is done? * How long till the wife's GC is processed? * How long till she can start working? * If the wife has a child from another marriage, and the the husband adopts this female child, can the man sponsor both his wife and adopted daughter for the GC?
