pradeep6639
Hello, I had H1b interview on Oct 1st in Hyd consulate, I lost my client after a week of interview, my client received email after 3 weeks about my Job, My manager responded back that my role was ended. There is no update since the interview in https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx website, when I tried to reach out US consulate to check the update they are asking me to wait for 180 days, It's been 97 since the interview. I really appreciate any suggestions in my case, Thanks in Advance. Quote Link to comment

gopalakrishnach
I am sorry but there is nothing you can do. Your isue is littler bit complicated. Is this your first H1B and did it started? If no then your employer can submit new H1B. I may be wrong. What your employer says... Edited January 7, 2020 by gopalakrishnach Quote Link to comment

Better look for a new employer, find a job and then go for stamping with new approved I-797. Quote Link to comment
pradeep6639
my employer planing to file amendment with new client, do you think it is a correct decision or I should wait until I got decision on this case. Quote Link to comment
Tjgarla
you need to withdraw your visa application first. Then ask your employer to file for an amendment, and after the approval , then apply for a new visa. Quote Link to comment

People rush to give you answers on incomplete information. What was your visa status while in US before your went for visa interview? If you were on H1 previously, then an amendment can be filed.
