I94 Expired and Extension-RFE under process

Hi All,

Need some advice or help in my case. I filed for H1B extension from company A and my I94 expired on 31 Dec 19 . I got an RFE and yet to receive the reason for the RFE. I am planning to Move to company B.  Can I move to another company as my I94 is expired and my extension is still under processing. Is it advisable to move to company B and what would be my status if I move to company B.

Can I move to another company as my I94 is expired and my extension is still under processing --- you mean move out of B. Once you move out B, A will stop responding to RFE. I feel you must stick with A and see result of extensio.

A new employer can file for a transfer petition which will most likely be consular processing as your i94 is expired. You will have to go for stamping when its approved to switch to new employer. 

New petition can be tied to your current petition but if current petition is denied then new petition will also be denied. Risky.
