H1B Visa Interview Without Client letter

Hi,

I worked in USA from Mar 2017 to May 2019. In May 2019, My H1B Extension was denied and I came back to India. Now, with the help of a new employer, I got H1B approval till June 2019 and I scheduled my Visa appointment on Jan 9th in Chennai. Mine is EVC model and the Client is not ready to provide Client letter as I have not joined the project yet. May I know if Client letter is mandatory these days while attending Visa interview? How do I convince the VO if they ask for Client letter? Please advice.

Sorry to say in your case you did not join client so they wil not give it and it is normal. Sometimes we can submit email correspondance for the reason why client cannot provide letter.. in your case it seems not possible.. ask your employer...

Take all documents between employer, vendors and client and hope for best...

You can take the singed contract between your employer- vendor and vendor - client. Most likely VO will also know that you can't get a client letter if you are not working for the client currently. If they ask you for Client letter, tell them the truth.
